Kabir Kouba Falls

Description

The Kabir-Kouba waterfall is a natural beauty to be discovered in Wendake. At a height of 28 metres, the Kabir Kouba falls into a 42-metre-deep canyon. From 2007 to 2009, archaeological digs uncovered the remains of flour, saw and paper mills built in the 18th and 19th centuries. A lookout point and staircases make it possible to admire the remains and the waterfall in complete safety.

Kabir-Kouba Falls offers much more than a magnificent view of the Akiawenrahk River. On site, you’ll discover not only the waterfall, but also the following sites of discovery: the Wendat fresco, Place Onywahtehretsih and the linear trail along the Saint-Charles River.

Just steps away, you’ll also find the Sagamité restaurant and two magnificent craft boutiques: Petit Huron Moc and Raquettes et Artisanat Gros-Louis. The Sagamité restaurant has a terrace with a partial view of the waterfall and river.
